Ricky Kuo is a versatile composer, songwriter, and sound designer from Taiwan, currently based in Los Angeles. He earned his master’s degree in Music Scoring for Visual Media from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in 2023. Over the years, Ricky has collaborated with a diverse range of filmmakers, podcasters, songwriters, music producers, and choreographers. He is passionate about working with creatives from all backgrounds and cultures.

In addition to crafting custom music for clients, Ricky is one of the founders of WeHere Entertainment (established in 2025). Through this platform, he organizes various music events, with a focus on promoting Chinese music within the vibrant, multicultural city of Los Angeles.

Ricky recently released his new single, “不好嗎? (Bu Hao Ma?)”, which explores the journey of an individual trying to survive in a big city, despite the many obstacles and challenges they face.

With a strong background in music production and mixing, film production from his undergraduate studies, years of event organizing experience, and guitar performance since the age of 11, Ricky is eager and excited to collaborate with you, creating a sound that is uniquely Kuoest.
